Successful Opening of the Mozart Matinees at the Salzburg Festival

Andrea Marcon opened the Salzburg Festival's Mozart Matinees together with the Mozarteum Orchestra Salzburg and violinist Isabelle Faust. The programme featured Mozart's Violin Concerto No. 5 in A major, K. 219, and the Symphonies K. 319 and K. 201.

In their reviews, the Austrian press highlighted Marcon's energetic interpretation of Mozart's works as well as the musical collaboration with Isabelle Faust and the Mozarteum Orchestra Salzburg.

In an article published on DrehPunktKultur on 27 July 2026, Horst Reischenböck wrote:
