Philippe Jaroussky receives the prize of the Musikfest Bremen 2022!

With this prize, the festival honours, among others, soloists "who have set independent accents in the international music world through their outstanding artistic work and have decisively shaped the profile of the Musikfest." In his seven appearances at the Musikfest Bremen, the countertenor convinced the jury: "His bell-clear, intonation-clean voice fascinates with a sensual timbre and he continuously places every form of virtuosity in the service of a touching intensity of expression. He always looks beneath the surface of the music and it is in the ability to authenticate situations and figures with each aria that he shows his mastery."
