We are delighted to announce that we now represent Serbian cellist Petar Pejčić in worldwide general management

Since Petar emerged in 2025 as one of the winners of the YCAT (Young Classical Artists Trust) International Auditions at Wigmore Hall, YCAT has supported his career with great dedication and commitment. We're sincerely grateful for their outstanding work and look forward to building on this strong foundation as we help shape the next chapters of Petar's career.

Cellist Petar Pejčić stands out for his exceptionally strong personality, deep sensitivity and creative energy, paired with a distinctive artistic voice. At 15 he left his home country to develop as an artist in Germany and seek new musical impulses, a bold step that revealed his focus and determination early on.

His rapid development bears this out, not least through his intensive studies at the Kronberg Academy. At 20, Petar was the youngest finalist and prize winner of the renowned 2022 Queen Elisabeth Competition, and in 2023 he won 2nd prize at the Paulo Cello Competition. He has also been selected as one of the ECHO Rising Stars for the 2026/27 season. As part of this distinction, he'll make his debut in 20 of Europe's 23 ECHO concert halls, including the Concertgebouw Amsterdam, the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg and the Palau de la Música Catalana in Barcelona.

We look forward to accompanying Petar on the next steps of his artistic journey.

A warm welcome to the Weigold & Böhm family, dear Petar!
