Yaara Tal releases her new album "1923

In her new album "1923", Yaara Tal dedicates herself to the music of the roaring twenties, specifically the year 1923. On her album, she interprets works by Arnold Schönberg, Hanns Eisler, Joseph Achron, Ernest Bloch, Frederick Delius, Leoš Janáček and Alexandre Tansman, among others.

"This demands an almost chameleon-like versatility from the pianist. Tal does justice to the different tasks at all times, the unifying momentum is a clear, often strikingly worked out rhythm. Her playing sounds tender and melancholic in Mompou, longing in Josef Matthias Hauer's "Verloren ins weite Blau". (Concerti, 25.08.2023, Christian Lahneck)
