ECHO Rising Stars Tour 2026/27 starts for Petar Pejčić

In the 2026/27 season, cellist Petar Pejčić has been selected as an ECHO Rising Star. As part of the prestigious ECHO Rising Stars programme, he will perform in 20 leading concert halls across Europe, including Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, Wiener Konzerthaus, Philharmonie de Paris and Palau de la Música Catalana in Barcelona.

For his Rising Stars tour, Petar presents three distinctive programmes:

“Prayer to Ecstasy” – a solo cello programme exploring the instrument in its most intimate and expressive form
“For Slava!” – a tribute to the legendary cellist and musician Mstislav Rostropovich
An interdisciplinary project combining cello, dance and choreography, presented as part of the Takeover Festival in Baden-Baden in 2027

The tour brings together the great cello tradition, contemporary music and innovative concert formats, presenting Petar to audiences across Europe.
