Javier Perianes` new CD - Enrique Granados: Goyescas op.11 release date, 01.12.23

The piano suite "Goyescas", op. 11, with the subtitle "Los majos enamorados" (The Gallant Lovers), inspired by the work of the Spanish painter Francisco de Goya (1746-1828), was written by Enrique Granados (1867 - 1916) in 1911.
Goya's colourful work, sometimes dark, enigmatic and threatening, is impressively expressed through highly ornamented and powerful music and requires both subtle dexterity and great power.
Javier Perianes offers a unique opportunity to hear this romantic piece performed by a pianist who, as a Spaniard, is closely associated with Spanish music and art. The release date is 01 December 2023, Harmonia Mundi Label.
