CD release “Serpentes ignei in deserto“ with Julia Lezhneva and Philippe Jaroussky

Eagerly awaited and today the time has come: the new complete recording of Johann Adolph Hasse's oratorio ‘Serpentes Ignei in Deserto’ has been released. Release date 22.11.2024 on Warner Classics / ERATO as a 2 CD album with booklet.

Julia Lezhneva can be heard as the ‘Angel’ in virtuoso colouratura arias, Philippe Jaroussky as "Moses" with great sensitivity, together with her congenial partners Jakub Józef Orliński, Bruno de Sá, Carlo Vistoli and David Hansen. The Les Accents Ensemble performs under Thibault Noally.
