Antonio Pavan Captivates a Sold-Out Audience at Muse Salentine Festival

On 4 August 2026, 12-year-old pianist Antonio Pavan made a remarkable appearance at the Muse Salentine Festival in Alessano, southern Italy. Held in the intimate setting of the historic Palazzo Sangiovanni, the concert was completely sold out, with all 140 seats booked within just a few hours.

Now in its 16th edition, the Muse Salentine Festival brings internationally renowned musicians and outstanding young talents to the intimate setting of Palazzo Sangiovanni in Alessano.

At his sold-out solo recital, Antonio Pavan impressed the audience with his refined touch, crystal-clear sound and remarkable musical maturity. The 12-year-old pianist, a recent winner of the Jeune Chopin Prize in Lugano, performed the entire programme from memory and was called back for two encores. Pavan concluded the evening with his own composition, The Stream (Il torrente), followed by a work by Rachmaninoff.
