Yaara Tal & Andreas Groethuysen will be awarded the Prize of Klavier-Festival Ruhr in 2022! Congratulations!

With this prize, the Klavier-Festival Ruhr honours artists whose life's work is closely connected to the festival. The prize is linked to a scholarship that the duo can award to a young pianist of their choice.

The citation states:

"For 37 years, Yaara Tal and Andreas Groethuysen have been sharing the stage as a piano duo, and they have made a total of 17 appearances at the Ruhr Piano Festival. Each one of their concerts has been a unique, special moment for the audience." (https://www.klavierfestival.de/en/the-ruhr-piano-festival-prize-2022/)

"Yaara Tal and Andreas Groethuysen have thus never ceased to enrich our Festival with their fascinating concepts and brilliant performances." (https://www.klavierfestival.de/en/the-ruhr-piano-festival-prize-2022/)
