On 28 February 2026, Andrea Marcon and the Venice Baroque Orchestra, which he founded, performed at the sold-out Festspielhaus Baden-Baden. Together with violinist Chouchane Siranossian, they presented a program featuring works by George Frideric Handel and Antonio Vivaldi. The audience responded with sustained and enthusiastic applause; the hall was completely full, a sight that has become less common since the pandemic.

“Great art performed by great artists.”

About Chouchane Siranossian, she wrote:

“What one hears then is an incredible technique, a frenzy on the strings, as if she were playing two instruments at once. Paganini was the devil’s violinist – she could well be called a devil’s violinist herself!”

On the blog Mozart2006 dated 2 March 2026, it was noted:

“I have heard the concertos of The Four Seasons countless times, both live and on recordings, yet on very few occasions have I encountered an interpreter capable of shaping this music with such expressive power, stylistic precision, and evocative charisma. […]”

“[…] Andrea Marcon and the Venice Baroque Orchestra performed two additional works from the Vivaldi repertoire that has made them internationally renowned, and in which the Italian ensemble under Marcon’s direction offers interpretations of genuine reference character […]”

About Chouchane Siranossian, the blog wrote:

“The Franco-Swiss virtuoso […] drew from her magnificent instrument by Giuseppe and Antonio Gagliano a true rainbow of colours, unfolding in a firework display of high virtuosity through the variety of articulation, bowing and rhythmic accents.”
