Top class sound - Lisa Batiashvili with the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra

On 9 and 10 January 2024, Lisa Batiashvili was a guest of the Munich Philharmonic under the direction of Zubin Mehta.

She performed Johannes Brahms' Double Concerto for Violin and Cello with Gautier Capuçon - an experience that the audience at the Isarphilharmonie will not soon forget:

"The violinist caresses the ear with her sensitive and lavish tone, while the cellist adds a spicy element with his characteristic viola da gamba-like timbre. For all their individuality, the two harmonise with each other so carefully in terms of sound that is rarely heard in this idiosyncratic work.
