20 years after Alexandre Tharaud revived the interpretation of the French harpsichord masters (Rameau, Couperin) on the piano for harmonia mundi, he explores the work of Marin Marais with his long-time duo partner Jean-Guihen Queyras - with the piano and the violoncello respectively!
Drawing on their experience in Baroque music, the two rise to the challenge of showing the gamba master's essence as it is: timeless and universal.
