Julia Lezhneva's debut with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra
On 7 November (followed by prerformances on November 9 and 10), Julia Lezhneva made her debut with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and Chorus with Mozart's Great Mass in C minor in congenial company with soprano Erika Baikoff, tenor Lunga Eric Hallam and bass-baritone Harold Wilson. Under the baton of Nathalie Stutzmann, all the soloists were on top form: "Lezhneva showcased a rich, powerful solo voice during “Laudamus te,” and the two sopranos blended beautifully during the duet “Domine Deus"."
