In the semi-staged concert version of Don Giovanni (scenic design: Rolando Villazon, lighting: Davy Cunningham) at the Salzburg Mozart Week (performances on 27 and 29.01.23 at the Felsenreitschule), in which scenery set up on both sides of the stage is supposed to indicate the setting of the action, Julia Lezhneva was at her best not only vocally but also in her acting. The PNP writes: "Julia Lezhneva: wonderfully teenage in her flattery by Don Giovanni's insinuations." DIE PREESE says: "They were outshone by Julia Lezhneva as Zerlina, acting with youthful verve and with a brilliant voice." Consequently " The strongest ovations went to Julia Lezhneva, whose youthful freshness, colourful brilliance and seductive legato elevate Zerlina to the central female voice."
