Andrea Marcon and La Cetra at the Innsbrucker Festwochen
"The ensemble is excellently staffed, diving with enthusiasm into the nuances of the score and seemingly spurring each other on. Naturally, everything is historically informed and meticulously considered in terms of phrasing. However, what really matters are the elegance, temperament, and musicality that make these three hours fly by. And, as a side note, Andrea Marcon manages to outshine the new Festival Weeks director, Ottavio Dantone, who took a more restrained approach with Giacomelli's Cesare."
