Alexandre Tharaud and Angélique Kidjo with „Les mots d'amour“ at the Dresden Music Festival

Alexandre Tharaud was a guest at the Dresden Music Festival on 09.06.2022 with an extraordinary programme. Together with the singer Angélique Kidjo, he created a wonderful programme around the "Mots d'amour":

But he also knew how to set impressive contrasts, to get out of the harmony into the dissonant, to bring out the eccentric in a dexterous and almost orgiastic way - but then also to send out almost childlike, rapturous tones on the mini-piano into the motherly chest tone of the diva."
